I often get asked what content management system (CMS), what theme, what image program I use and so on. So for your convenience I have listed below the technology and major service providers we use. Each item in the list is a link so you can check it out your self if you want.

Technology we Use

• Our website and blog is using the WordPress Content Management System (CMS) Opensource (read free) and the best on the web I reckon of all opensource and commercial versions available.
• Within WordPress I use the Thesis Theme this must be the best theme around to get a professional website up fast that provides excellent Search Engine Optimisation(SEO) at a very reasonable price
• Zen-Cart is the shopping cart I use, this is also a opensource software and is extremely powerful but can be a bit complex, however they do have a great support community with about 100,000 or so members.
• Our website Host is – Xyzulu they are located in Sydney which dramatically support when you need it.
• Opensource Image / drawing tool – GIMP I use this to modify photos etc.
• Website banners and logos – 20-DollarBanners If you have a look at my affiliate banners, they are all made by them at a very low cost.
• I use PayPal as our payment gateway This is the best way of getting online payments going fast, however they are somewhat more expensive per transaction then if you go with one of the major banks
• MagicZoomPlus is the the little bit of magic I use when displaying images within my shopping cart. It’s only working for some of the core images at the moment because I’m getting a commercial photographer to re-do all my photos to improve the way you can look at my products. This will include the facility to see detailed views of the different functions of all door handles. However to make it work in Zen-Cart I had to do some modifications, you can read about it here.
