Roller Mortice Lock: A roller mortice lock has a roller latch instead of a tongue latch which means you won't require a lever or knob to open and close the door. In an unlocked state you open the door by pulling on the Balmoral handle and close the door by pushing on the handle - the latch will "snap" in and out. Because you don't need a lever/knob your entrance door will have a more streamlined look. Another important feature of our roller mortice lock is that the roller keepers (strike plate) are angled so that the door will not rattle in the wind.
The roller mortice lock has a brushed stainless steel finish and includes:
- roller mortice lock itself with regular backset of 57mm
- a 5pin euro lock cylinder with a snib on the inside and keyed on the outside and
- two stainless steel escutcheons to fit the euro cylinder (as per pic).
